We offer dry cleaning, wash & fold, shoe shine and repair, wedding dress cleanings, bag cleanings, and other specialty item cleaning such as leather, etc.

  2. If you’re using a locker, then drop off your clothes in any secure bag (we’ll return it with your order), and place your order with the locker number you dropped off your bag(s) in. If you’re using concierge or home delivery, then place your order, and drop off your bag or hand it to our driver. Be sure to complete and include a New Order Form (download here) so that we have your information!
  3. We’ll contact you by text and/or email when your order is ready for pick up.

We have 350+ locations all over San Francisco and Oakland. Most of our locations are located securely inside apartment and office buildings. We also operate public locations located throughout the city. You can find the location nearest you here. If your building is over 40 units, you can have your property manager contact us about having lockers installed.

Yes, we have a 15 lb order minimum. If your order is under 15 lbs, then the fee will be at the minimum rate. 15 lbs are the equivalent to about 2 weeks worth of laundry or half of our Wash & Fold laundry bag.

We do our best to ensure that your orders get delivered back in a timely manner. However, we also need to ensure that we properly treat stains and press your clothes. In most cases, orders are delivered back within two business days, but if one item is held up, we will hold the order until the next day when everything is ready. Items such as shoe shines, sheets, pillowcases, hand washed items and other specialty items often require an extra day of processing and may delay your order.

Our standard turnaround time is two business days for any orders dropped off by 9am. When we pickup your order and when we deliver it back, you will receive an email confirmation. If you didn’t receive the email, we either did not pickup your order, or we picked it up and did not know it was yours. This usually happens if you forget to place an order or enter the incorrect locker number.

Don’t worry! We will have this straightened out in no time and it is a very easy issue to fix. We just need you to call customer service at (415) 255-7500, letting us know your name, locker number, and contact info, so we can get it straightened out, and have your order returned back to your locker quickly.

Simply text the word LAUNDRY to MOSIO (66746). The system looks up your default address and places an order for you. If you are at a locker location, you will need to text the locker number too, in the format LAUNDRY [locker #]. e.g. LAUNDRY 675

The first time you do laundry with us, use any large and sturdy bag and we’ll be sure to return it in your personal Laundry Locker reusable laundry bag. This bag is yours to use and keep. Each time we receive laundry in your bag, we will know it’s from you. Please don’t give your laundry bag to someone else or we may mistakenly charge your account. If we notice that your bag is getting worn, we will replace it automatically for you.

Remember: Always use our blue bags for dry cleaning and laundered shirts, and green bags for Wash & Fold. This ensures we clean your clothes correctly and avoids any delays!

Using our website or App, you can add your laundry preferences in your settings > laundry preferences.

For stains, please tape a piece of masking tape next to the stain(s), and let us know in your notes that they’re there for easy identification. Would you like us to use fabric softer, dry your clothes on low, use bleach or provide other special service? No problem, just enter your requirements into your profile and we’ll follow your instructions. We may charge a small fee for some of these services. You can send us an email at support@laundrylocker.com if you have a question about a specific request.

As soon as your order is picked up you will receive an email detailing your items and requesting payment. Simply login to the website, select your order, and pay with your credit card. If you select the convenient automatic payment option, we will automatically charge your card for all future orders. Please make payments promptly so we can ensure your order gets returned on time.

If you don’t have Internet access, you can call our support center at 415-255-7500 and we will process your order over the telephone. All we need is your Location, Locker Number, and Credit Card Number. As soon as we receive your payment, and your clothes are cleaned, we will return them to the locker.

We offer dry cleaning, wash & fold, shoe shine and repair, wedding dress cleanings, bag cleanings, and other specialty item cleaning such as leather, etc.

Yes, we use GreenEarth for our dry cleaning and Vaska for our Wash & Fold, both of which are all natural and chemical-free. We also minimize our use of plastics whenever possible and use reusable bags. One fun fact is that we’re the largest users of recyclable hangers in the USA.

We are able to process laundered shirts at discount pricing because there is special machinery designed for processing standard sized button down shirts with cuffs and collars. However, shirts with special pleats, decorations or any other non-standard design elements, or shirts that are too small to fit on the machines need to be pressed by hand and will be charged the blouse price.

Laundered shirts should go in the dry cleaning bag. This will allow us to return them to you on a hanger. We will clean the items in the dry cleaning bag in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the manufacturer unless you specify otherwise. Meaning if a shirt is supposed to be laundered, we will launder, not dry clean, it.

Most individuals typically use about 30 Lbs a month. For 2 people, 60lbs/month is typical usage of wash & fold. As a reference, a regular washing machine typically holds 10-15 Lbs. If the plan you initially selected does not suit your needs, you can change your plan at any time. The new plan will take effect as soon as your current plan expires.

No problem! You can still select any upgrades you like on the preferences page. Your base wash & fold will be included in your plan and any upgrades such as special soap, dryer sheets, or other available upgrades will be charged separately and billed to your account on a per order basis.

If the plan you initially selected does not suit your needs, you can change your plan at any time. The new plan will take affect as soon as your current plan expires.

We are still more than happy to process special items. These are not included in the plan and will be charged separately and billed to your credit card on a per order basis.

Since we wash every customer’s clothes separately, each order is separated in to at least two loads. Hence the reason for a 15 Lb minimum order size. It is fine to send in less, and we will just deduct 15 Lbs from your available laundry plan balance for the order.

No problem. Should your usage exceed the amount of your plan, you will be charged the standard per pound rate (currently $1.99) for any pounds over your plan amount.

The laundry plan is for the term specified in your plan, from the date you sign up for the plan. After 11:59 pm on the end date, any remaining balance in your account will be removed (less any rollover).

Your monthly laundry plan will automatically renew at 11:59 pm on the end date of your plan. To cancel the plan click on the button saying Turn Off Automatic Renewal

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. As long as you are setup for automatic renewal, unused pounds, up to a maximum of the plan’s rollover pounds, will be added to the automatically renewed plan for the next month.

All transactions are based on the day your order is picked up. That means that if you place your order on the 15th, but it is not picked up until the 16th, and you plan expires on the 15th, your order will be credited to the next month’s balance.

Sorry, but our laundry plans are such a great deal that they may not be combined with any other offers. Other discounts and offers will be applied to any charges not associated with your laundry plan (upgrades, dry cleaning, etc.). Discounts may not be used to purchase laundry plans.

These plans are only for wash & fold orders. Dry cleaning and laundered shirts are charged per piece as part of our dry cleaning service.

The monthly laundry plans are not available for wholesale or commercial accounts.

Sorry, but no refunds will be issued for partially or completely unused laundry plans.

Automatic renewal of laundry plans may be terminated at any time by clicking the button labeled Turn Off Automatic Renewal. The plan will remain active until 11:59 pm of the last day of your plan, at which time your plan will not be automatically renewed.

Laundry plans cover the cost of basic wash and fold. Any extra services, such as detergent upgrades or home delivery, are additional and will be charged per order.

With wash & fold, unfortunately we do not have the space or time to hang dry items. We can return them wet for you to hang dry at home or we can dry your order on low heat. We suggest you send these items in for dry cleaning and we will clean them according to the manufacturer’s specifications. If the item specifically requires hang drying, we will hang dry them, though there is an extra cost for this and they may require an extra day to service.

There is no minimum for Dry Cleaning or laundered shirts.

For Wash & Fold, we have a 15 lb minimum order size. Since we wash every customer`s clothes separately, each order is separated into colors and lights to make at least two loads (2 washers & 2 dryers), and handled by our experienced team. It is fine to send in less than 15 pounds, and we will charge the 15 pound minimum for the order or deduct 15 pounds from your laundry plan balance. This is a service that is handled separately from any dry cleaning order, and so we must charge the minimum.

Our average order is 15 to 20 pounds. That is about two weeks worth of dirty laundry. A full hamper is about 20 pounds. If it is overflowing, it’s about 30 pounds. If you have a scale at home, you can weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding your laundry and the difference is the approximate weight.

Yes, wash and fold orders are weighed by the pound. In our system, the word “items” equates to pounds. In this case your order would weigh 23 pounds.

Laundry Locker offers a variety of detergents, fabric softeners, and dry sheets to choose from. As a registered customer, under the My Preferences section, you can configure your detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets and other washing preferences. However, we do no allow customers to provide us with their own products. Because we are a delivery service, the transportation of the liquid is too risky to your clothes and the clothes of other customers. If there is a product that you would like us to carry that you don’t see currently available on our website, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you.

We offer complimentary minor repairs for a loose seam or missing buttons, but don’t offer regular repair services at this time.

Yes, we do! The cleaning time is a bit longer than our regular dry cleaning. Feel free to contact our Customer Service Team Members for the details.

  3. You’ll see a light flash and hear a sound from the lock. Pull on the lock to ensure it’s secure.

Absolutely! Remember, only you and a Laundry Locker employee has access to your locker.

Laundry Locker does our best to monitor locker use to ensure that there are always enough free lockers. If we find that a location is constantly full, we will add another locker – if the landlord / business owner approves. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you use one our other many drop-off locations throughout San Francisco.

Our lockers are designed to hold one to two weeks worth of laundry. If you cannot fit all of your laundry into one locker then feel free to use two lockers.

All Laundry Locker drop-off locations are emptied several times a day. If we find any items that Laundry Locker doesn’t service, we will store the items for several days and change the lock on the unit. If you would like to reclaim your property, please contact our customer service department. Any unclaimed items will be donated after 30 days.

We’re sorry to see you go. We can’t reuse the bags for other customers, so they are yours to keep. Please make sure you destroy the tags on the bags so that no one else can use your account.

We take every precaution to ensure your items are not damaged or lost. In the rare circumstance that something does happen, we have a very fair claims policy. To view all of our terms and conditions, click here.

We follow the instructions on the tags by manufacturers to ensure that your clothes are cleaned correctly. If you’d prefer specific shirts be laundered, then you can sign a liability release. Please contact our Customer Support Team for the details.

Laundry Locker collects Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our Website, when you send us information or communications in connection with your use of the Laundry Locker Service, and/or when you download and use the Laundry Locker Software. Personal Data means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your full name, age, address, geographic location of your computer or mobile device, telephone number, credit/debit card number, email address, IP address, page history, ads clicked on, or transaction related information, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. “Anonymous Data means data about you that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described below.  We will store data about your purchase history and transaction information, which is stored on a cumulative basis. We will also track search terms that you enter while using the Laundry Locker Service. We may store such tracking information in a manner that can be associated with specific users.   We may also collect non-personally identifiable information and aggregate and anonymize such information, for example, tracking the number of visitors to the Service, where visitors enter the Service, how long they remain, etc., in connection with the operation of the Service.  

Personal Data You Provide To Us

We may collect Personal Data from you, such as first and last name, email and mailing addresses, telephone number, age, and password, when you register for the Laundry Locker Service. In addition, we (or our third-party credit card or payment processor on our behalf) will collect Personal Data including your credit card number or account information when you register for the Services. We also retain information on your behalf, such as the Personal Data described above and any correspondence. If you provide us feedback or contact us via email, we will collect your name and email address, IP address, as well as any other content included in the email, in order to send you a reply, and any information that you submit to us, such as a resume. If we conduct a survey in which you participate, we may collect additional profile information. We may also collect Personal Data at other instances in the Laundry Locker Software user experience where we state that Personal Data is being collected.

Personal Data Collected by Third Parties

We may receive Personal Data about you from other sources like telephone or fax, from companies that distribute the Laundry Locker Service by way of a co-branded or private-labeled website, companies that offer their products and/or services via the Laundry Locker Service, or companies that provide services (such as payment processing services) in connection with the Laundry Locker Service (collectively, Partner Companies). Our Partner Companies may supply us with Personal Data, such as your name and email and mailing address information or your login credentials for such Partner Company’s website or service, in order to help us establish the account or fulfill orders. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Website in order to perform and improve the Laundry Locker Service. Partner Companies and their employees who work in a location where you drop off or pick up laundry through the Services may have access to your Personal Data to perform and improve the Services and are obligated not to disclose or use such Personal Data for any other purpose.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the use and disclosure of Personal Data that we collect while you use the Laundry Locker Service. Our provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents. The fact that we link to a website or present a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites. When you click on such a link, you will leave our Website and go to another site. During this process, a third party may collect Personal Data or Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Personal Data Collected via Technology

The Laundry Locker Service (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collects Personal Data from you, such as browser type, geographic location of your mobile device or computer, operating system and version, Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name, information about your application, operating environment and hardware profiles and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. We may also use Cookies (as defined below) and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and/or access to the Laundry Locker Service and your activity on the Laundry Locker Software. In addition to cookies for the above purposes, we also use “transparent GIFs,” on the Service to help manage online advertising and e-mail marketing that we may conduct in the future.  These transparent GIF files are commonly used and provided by one or more third-party service providers, and enable service providers to recognize a unique cookie in your web browser to learn which advertisements or e-mails brought you to our Website and how you use the Service.  To conduct these or other activities, we or our service providers sometimes may link Personal Information you previously provided us (such as, for example, your name and e-mail address) to the information the transparent GIF files provide about how you arrive at, navigate through and leave the Service. We may also collect personal information when you register to join the Services (or choose to update your account data) by logging into an account that you already have with a third party social networking platform (“SNP”) via our Services. For example, our Services allows you to create an account and login to the Services using your Facebook account credentials through Facebook Connect. If you create a user account by logging into the SNP via the Services, you are using the personal information you have already provided to the SNP (such as your “real” name, e-mail address, age and other information you make available via the SNP) to create your account on our Services. Accordingly, if you use Facebook Connect to join the Services, you are allowing us to access the personal information in your Facebook account pursuant to Facebook’s terms and conditions governing your use of the Services via Facebook. Laundry Locker is concerned with protecting your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Laundry Locker or guarantee that your information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), we encrypt that information using one-way hash function and secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Laundry Locker uses your Personal Data in the following ways:

  • to facilitate the creation of and secure your account on our network;
  • to identify you as a user in our system;
  • to manage your account on our network;
  • to provide improved administration of the Laundry Locker Service;

  • to improve the quality of experience when you interact with the Laundry Locker Service ;
  • to send you a welcome email to verify ownership of the email address provided when your account was created;

Once we’ve received your order and marked it in, then we’ll send you an email with the cost. Our full price list can be found here.

As soon as your order is picked up you will receive an email detailing your items and requesting payment. Simply login to the website, select your order and pay with your credit card. If you select the convenient automatic payment option, we will automatically charge your card for all future orders. Please make payments promptly so we can ensure your order gets returned on time.

Currently Laundry Locker only accepts payment with Credit Card. Most ATM cards will work as well as long as they have a VISA or MasterCard logo on them.

If you don’t pay within 2 days of dropping off your clothes, the lock on the unit will be changed so that other customers can use the locker. We will store your clean clothes at our facility and you can go to the my account section of our website to schedule a delivery date. When your scheduled delivery date arrives, we will place your clothes back in the locker and install your lock back on the locker. You can then simply pickup your clothes at your earliest convenience using your key.

If we don’t receive payment within 30 days, your clothing will be donated to charity. We strongly suggest you setup automatic payment to help prevent this.

We don’t have any hidden fees and seek to be as transparent as possible. All of our prices are listed here. Please let us know if you have any questions.

If you would like to change your credit card, you can go to “My Preferences”. Select the “Credit Card” tab and enter your new credit card information.

Absolutely! Laundry Locker has partnered with Verisign, the premier online payment processor, for this single reason. When you enter your credit card information, we don’t actually keep your credit card anywhere in our system. We keep a reference to your last transaction and when you have a new order, we make a request to Verisign to charge you the same way you were charged last time. Therefore, we have absolutely no trace of your credit card number anywhere in our system.

The first time you do laundry with us, use any large and sturdy bag and we’ll be sure to return it in your personal Laundry Locker reusable laundry bag. This bag is yours to use and keep. Each time we receive laundry in your bag, we will know it’s from you. Please don’t give your laundry bag to someone else or we may mistakenly charge your account. If we notice that your bag is getting worn, we will replace it automatically for you.

Remember: Always use our blue bags for dry cleaning and laundered shirts, and green bags for Wash & Fold. This ensures we clean your clothes correctly and avoids any delays!

For stains, please tape a piece of masking tape next to the stain(s), and let us know in your notes that they’re there for easy identification. If you don’t have Internet access, you can call our support center at 415-255-7500 and we will process your order over the telephone. All we need is your Location, Locker Number, and Credit Card Number. As soon as we receive your payment, and your clothes are cleaned, we will return them to the locker.

We offer dry cleaning, wash & fold, shoe shine and repair, wedding dress cleanings, bag cleanings, and other specialty item cleaning such as leather, etc.

Yes, we use GreenEarth for our dry cleaning and Vaska for our Wash & Fold, both of which are all natural and chemical-free. We also minimize our use of plastics whenever possible and use reusable bags. One fun fact is that we’re the largest users of recyclable hangers in the USA.

We are able to process laundered shirts at discount pricing because there is special machinery designed for processing standard sized button down shirts with cuffs and collars. However, shirts with special pleats, decorations or any other non-standard design elements, or shirts that are too small to fit on the machines need to be pressed by hand and will be charged the blouse price.

Laundered shirts should go in the dry cleaning bag. This will allow us to return them to you on a hanger. We will clean the items in the dry cleaning bag in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the manufacturer unless you specify otherwise. Meaning if a shirt is supposed to be laundered, we will launder, not dry clean, it.

Most individuals typically use about 30 Lbs a month. For 2 people, 60lbs/month is typical usage of wash & fold. As a reference, a regular washing machine typically holds 10-15 Lbs. If the plan you initially selected does not suit your needs, you can change your plan at any time. The new plan will take effect as soon as your current plan expires.

No problem! You can still select any upgrades you like on the preferences page. Your base wash & fold will be included in your plan and any upgrades such as special soap, dryer sheets, or other available upgrades will be charged separately and billed to your account on a per order basis.

If the plan you initially selected does not suit your needs, you can change your plan at any time. The new plan will take affect as soon as your current plan expires.

We are still more than happy to process special items. These are not included in the plan and will be charged separately and billed to your credit card on a per order basis.

Since we wash every customer’s clothes separately, each order is separated in to at least two loads. Hence the reason for a 15 Lb minimum order size. It is fine to send in less, and we will just deduct 15 Lbs from your available laundry plan balance for the order.

No problem. Should your usage exceed the amount of your plan, you will be charged the standard per pound rate (currently $1.99) for any pounds over your plan amount.

The laundry plan is for the term specified in your plan, from the date you sign up for the plan. After 11:59 pm on the end date, any remaining balance in your account will be removed (less any rollover).

Your monthly laundry plan will automatically renew at 11:59 pm on the end date of your plan. To cancel the plan click on the button saying Turn Off Automatic Renewal

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. As long as you are setup for automatic renewal, unused pounds, up to a maximum of the plan’s rollover pounds, will be added to the automatically renewed plan for the next month.

All transactions are based on the day your order is picked up. That means that if you place your order on the 15th, but it is not picked up until the 16th, and you plan expires on the 15th, your order will be credited to the next month’s balance.

Sorry, but our laundry plans are such a great deal that they may not be combined with any other offers. Other discounts and offers will be applied to any charges not associated with your laundry plan (upgrades, dry cleaning, etc.). Discounts may not be used to purchase laundry plans.

These plans are only for wash & fold orders. Dry cleaning and laundered shirts are charged per piece as part of our dry cleaning service.

The monthly laundry plans are not available for wholesale or commercial accounts.

Sorry, but no refunds will be issued for partially or completely unused laundry plans.

Automatic renewal of laundry plans may be terminated at any time by clicking the button labeled Turn Off Automatic Renewal. The plan will remain active until 11:59 pm of the last day of your plan, at which time your plan will not be automatically renewed.

Laundry plans cover the cost of basic wash and fold. Any extra services, such as detergent upgrades or home delivery, are additional and will be charged per order.

With wash & fold, unfortunately we do not have the space or time to hang dry items. We can return them wet for you to hang dry at home or we can dry your order on low heat. We suggest you send these items in for dry cleaning and we will clean them according to the manufacturer’s specifications. If the item specifically requires hang drying, we will hang dry them, though there is an extra cost for this and they may require an extra day to service.

There is no minimum for Dry Cleaning or laundered shirts.

For Wash & Fold, we have a 15 lb minimum order size. Since we wash every customer`s clothes separately, each order is separated into colors and lights to make at least two loads (2 washers & 2 dryers), and handled by our experienced team. It is fine to send in less than 15 pounds, and we will charge the 15 pound minimum for the order or deduct 15 pounds from your laundry plan balance. This is a service that is handled separately from any dry cleaning order, and so we must charge the minimum.

Our average order is 15 to 20 pounds. That is about two weeks worth of dirty laundry. A full hamper is about 20 pounds. If it is overflowing, it’s about 30 pounds. If you have a scale at home, you can weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding your laundry and the difference is the approximate weight.

Yes, wash and fold orders are weighed by the pound. In our system, the word “items” equates to pounds. In this case your order would weigh 23 pounds.

Laundry Locker offers a variety of detergents, fabric softeners, and dry sheets to choose from. As a registered customer, under the My Preferences section, you can configure your detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets and other washing preferences. However, we do no allow customers to provide us with their own products. Because we are a delivery service, the transportation of the liquid is too risky to your clothes and the clothes of other customers. If there is a product that you would like us to carry that you don’t see currently available on our website, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you.

We offer complimentary minor repairs for a loose seam or missing buttons, but don’t offer regular repair services at this time.

Our lockers are designed to hold one to two weeks worth of laundry. If you cannot fit all of your laundry into one locker then feel free to use two lockers.

All Laundry Locker drop-off locations are emptied several times a day. If we find any items that Laundry Locker doesn’t service, we will store the items for several days and change the lock on the unit. If you would like to reclaim your property, please contact our customer service department. Any unclaimed items will be donated after 30 days.

We’re sorry to see you go. We can’t reuse the bags for other customers, so they are yours to keep. Please make sure you destroy the tags on the bags so that no one else can use your account.

We take every precaution to ensure your items are not damaged or lost. In the rare circumstance that something does happen, we have a very fair claims policy. To view all of our terms and conditions, click here.

We follow the instructions on the tags by manufacturers to ensure that your clothes are cleaned correctly. If you’d prefer specific shirts be laundered, then you can sign a liability release. Please contact our Customer Support Team for the details.

This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you visit the Laundry Locker, Inc.’s Website or use our services (the “Service”).

By submitting or making available Personal Data (as defined below) through our Website, phone, or mobile application (collectively, the “Laundry Locker Software”) or the Laundry Locker Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Your Personal Data may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including the United States, where laws regarding processing of Personal Data may be less stringent than the laws in your country.

Laundry Locker collects Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our Website, when you send us information or communications in connection with your use of the Laundry Locker Service, and/or when you download and use the Laundry Locker Software. Personal Data means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your full name, age, address, geographic location of your computer or mobile device, telephone number, credit/debit card number, email address, IP address, page history, ads clicked on, or transaction related information, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. “Anonymous Data means data about you that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described below.  We will store data about your purchase history and transaction information, which is stored on a cumulative basis. We will also track search terms that you enter while using the Laundry Locker Service. We may store such tracking information in a manner that can be associated with specific users.   We may also collect non-personally identifiable information and aggregate and anonymize such information, for example, tracking the number of visitors to the Service, where visitors enter the Service, how long they remain, etc., in connection with the operation of the Service.  

Personal Data You Provide To Us

We may collect Personal Data from you, such as first and last name, email and mailing addresses, telephone number, age, and password, when you register for the Laundry Locker Service. In addition, we (or our third-party credit card or payment processor on our behalf) will collect Personal Data including your credit card number or account information when you register for the Services. We also retain information on your behalf, such as the Personal Data described above and any correspondence. If you provide us feedback or contact us via email, we will collect your name and email address, IP address, as well as any other content included in the email, in order to send you a reply, and any information that you submit to us, such as a resume. If we conduct a survey in which you participate, we may collect additional profile information. We may also collect Personal Data at other instances in the Laundry Locker Software user experience where we state that Personal Data is being collected.

Personal Data Collected by Third Parties

We may receive Personal Data about you from other sources like telephone or fax, from companies that distribute the Laundry Locker Service by way of a co-branded or private-labeled website, companies that offer their products and/or services via the Laundry Locker Service, or companies that provide services (such as payment processing services) in connection with the Laundry Locker Service (collectively, Partner Companies). Our Partner Companies may supply us with Personal Data, such as your name and email and mailing address information or your login credentials for such Partner Company’s website or service, in order to help us establish the account or fulfill orders. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Website in order to perform and improve the Laundry Locker Service. Partner Companies and their employees who work in a location where you drop off or pick up laundry through the Services may have access to your Personal Data to perform and improve the Services and are obligated not to disclose or use such Personal Data for any other purpose.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the use and disclosure of Personal Data that we collect while you use the Laundry Locker Service. Our provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents. The fact that we link to a website or present a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites. When you click on such a link, you will leave our Website and go to another site. During this process, a third party may collect Personal Data or Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Personal Data Collected via Technology

The Laundry Locker Service (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collects Personal Data from you, such as browser type, geographic location of your mobile device or computer, operating system and version, Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name, information about your application, operating environment and hardware profiles and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. We may also use Cookies (as defined below) and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and/or access to the Laundry Locker Service and your activity on the Laundry Locker Software. In addition to cookies for the above purposes, we also use “transparent GIFs,” on the Service to help manage online advertising and e-mail marketing that we may conduct in the future.  These transparent GIF files are commonly used and provided by one or more third-party service providers, and enable service providers to recognize a unique cookie in your web browser to learn which advertisements or e-mails brought you to our Website and how you use the Service.  To conduct these or other activities, we or our service providers sometimes may link Personal Information you previously provided us (such as, for example, your name and e-mail address) to the information the transparent GIF files provide about how you arrive at, navigate through and leave the Service. We may also include tracking pixels and web beacons in advertisements or promotions. For example, our Services allows you to create an account and login to the Services using your Facebook account credentials through Facebook Connect. If you create a user account by logging into the SNP via the Services, you are using the personal information you have already provided to the SNP (such as your “real” name, e-mail address, age and other information you make available via the SNP) to create your account on our Services. Accordingly, if you use Facebook Connect to join the Services, you are allowing us to access the personal information in your Facebook account pursuant to Facebook’s terms and conditions governing your use of the Services via Facebook. Laundry Locker is concerned with protecting your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Laundry Locker or guarantee that your information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), we encrypt that information using one-way hash function and secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Laundry Locker uses your Personal Data in the following ways:

  • to facilitate the creation of and secure your account on our network;
  • to identify you as a user in our system;

We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance the content and functionality of the Laundry Locker Service. Laundry Locker reserves the right to use for other purposes and to disclose Anonymous Data to third parties in its discretion.

If you provide feedback on the Laundry Locker Service, we may use such feedback for any purpose, provided we will not associate such feedback with your Personal Data. Laundry Locker will collect and store any information contained in such communication and will treat the Personal Data in such communication in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  1. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We may share your Personal Data with Partner Companies to provide technical support or to provide specific services, such as hosting of your applications, maintenance services, database management or payment processing for purchases. Partner Companies will have access to your Personal Data only to perform these services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may share some or all of your Personal Data with a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, Related Entities), in which case we will require our Related Entities to honor this Privacy Policy.

Laundry Locker may sell/divest/transfer the company (including any shares in the company), or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Personal Data may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. We may also sell, assign or otherwise transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, reorganizations, liquidations, similar transactions or proceedings involving all or a portion of the company.

Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Data (if applicable), Laundry Locker may disclose Personal Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on Laundry Locker; or (b) protect or defend the rights or property of Laundry Locker or users of the Laundry Locker Service.

Except as otherwise stated in this policy, we do not generally sell, trade, share, or rent the Personal Data collected from our services to third parties. You expressly consent to the sharing of your Personal Data as described in this policy.

Laundry Locker offers you the choice of receiving different types of communication and information related to our company, products and services. Despite these measures, you should know that Laundry Locker cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with Personal Data.

  1. STORAGE AND PROCESSING

Your information collected through the Laundry Locker Service may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Laundry Locker or its affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. Laundry Locker may transfer information that we collect about you, including Personal Data, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union, Switzerland or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including Personal Data, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which Laundry Locker or  its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

Without a common industry or legal standard for interpreting Do Not Track (DNT) signals, Laundry Locker does not respond to browser DNT signals. Laundry Locker will continue to monitor further development of a DNT standard by the privacy community and industry.

Laundry Locker ‘s commitment to comply with the Privacy Shield Principles

Accountability for onward transfers

Laundry Locker’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Laundry Locker remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Laundry Locker proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

You have a legal right to request the personal information about you held by us. On request, we will provide you with a copy of this information. You also have a right to correct, amend or delete such personal information where it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the Privacy Shield Principles.

We do our best to ensure that your orders get delivered back in a timely manner. However, we also need to ensure that we properly treat stains and press your clothes. In most cases, orders are delivered back within two business days, but if one item is held up, we will hold the order until the next day when everything is ready. Items such as shoe shines, sheets, pillowcases, hand washed items and other specialty items often require an extra day of processing and may delay your order.

Our standard turnaround time is two business days for any orders dropped off by 9am. When we pickup your order and when we deliver it back, you will receive an email confirmation. If you didn’t receive the email, we either did not pickup your order, or we picked it up and did not know it was yours. This usually happens if you forget to place an order or enter the incorrect locker number.

Don’t worry! We will have this straightened out in no time and it is a very easy issue to fix. We just need you to call customer service at (415) 255-7500, letting us know your name, locker number and contact info so we can get it straightened out and have your order returned back to your locker quickly.

No, there’s no need to tip.

Since we provide quick service, we recommend that you wait to place your clothes in the locker when you know you will be able to pick them up. This way your neighbors and other customers can use the locker while you are away. This helps to keep our prices low.

Once we’ve received your order and marked it in, then we’ll send you an email with the cost. Our full price list can be found here.

As soon as your order is picked up you will receive an email detailing your items and requesting payment. Simply login to the website, select your order and pay with your credit card. If you select the convenient automatic payment option, we will automatically charge your card for all future orders. Please make payments promptly so we can ensure your order gets returned on time.

Currently Laundry Locker only accepts payment with Credit Card. Most ATM cards will work as well as long as they have a VISA or MasterCard logo on them.

If you don’t pay within 2 days of dropping off your clothes, the lock on the unit will be changed so that other customers can use the locker. We will store your clean clothes at our facility and you can go to the my account section of our website to schedule a delivery date. When your scheduled delivery date arrives, we will place your clothes back in the locker and install your lock back on the locker. You can then simply pickup your clothes at your earliest convenience using your key.

If we don’t receive payment within 30 days, your clothing will be donated to charity. We strongly suggest you setup automatic payment to help prevent this.

We don’t have any hidden fees and seek to be as transparent as possible. All of our prices are listed here. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Absolutely! Laundry Locker has partnered with Verisign, the premier online payment processor, for this single reason. When you enter your credit card information, we don’t actually keep your credit card anywhere in our system. We keep a reference to your last transaction and when you have a new order, we make a request to Verisign to charge you the same way you were charged last time. Therefore, we have absolutely no trace of your credit card number anywhere in our system.
